Today, 09/09/09, Leica is supposed to announce the M9 – probably the worst kept secret (scroll down, there is a PDF of the brochure in one of the posts) in photo business this year. If it lives up to expectations, it’s going to be fabulous. Unfortunately, even if you do sell some nonessential body parts, you’re probably going to be able to afford only a body and a down payment on a lens. But still, if it is 35mm equivalent sensor size, it’s quite an impressive feat of engineering for a small company.
